A key focus is to provide the technological and biological means to discover new bioactive molecules proteinsenzymes or biologics microorganisms or microbiomes for biomedical or biotechnological purposes. We are also responsible for the bsc and msc programmes in medicine technology offered in cooperation with the university of copenhagen.
